Your Guide To Finding The Perfect Swimwear

The time is here! Swimwear season is fast approaching which means warm summer sessions, tropical waters and time spent under the sun with your besties.

Though it’s our favourite time of year, shopping for your new kini can sometimes be a task easier said than done. From big bust to small, curvy frames to athletic as well as our favourite diversified skin tones, there’s different styles, cuts and colours for each and every one of us, and we are here to guide you in the right direction to ease the pain and find the perfect style for you!

Here are our 7 helpful tips to support your search for the perfect swimwear staple. Read on below, then click here to check out our entire range from all of your favourite labels and find your style.

1. Try a range of styles and cuts.
From bralettes to crop tops, cheeky bottoms to one-pieces, dark colours to light colours, solids to prints and everything in between. Give it all a go! You never know, you may find your new favourite swimwear isn’t what you expected!

2. Shop with a friend that has great style.
We all have that one (or if we’re lucky, more than one) friend with epic style that we’re secretly jealous of. Shopping with friends is always fun, and having a friend with a keen eye for style is a bonus!

3. Basics are always great but prints can be fun!
Don’t be afraid to mix and match with basics and prints too, the possibilities are endless, use your creative flair to combine different tops and bottoms, prints and colours for your very own unique look.

4. Get the swimsuit you feel the most confident in.
When we’re feeling good, we look good. Being confident and comfortable in what you’re wearing makes a huge difference to any day out, go with what you feel the best in!

5. Play with all adjustable ties and straps to achieve the perfect fit.
When adjusting, go tighter than you think and once secured, lean forward and adjust until your bust is covered.

6. If you have a fuller bust, make sure you look for adequate support.
A halter shape is perfect as you can tie the straps as tight as it is comfortable to provide proper support.

7. As a general rule, make sure the swimsuit is firm (even tight fitting).
Lycra does give a little in the water.
